Rick Ross Being Sued By Nigerian Government

Media from Nigeria are reporting that Rick Ross is being sued
by the Cross River State government for missing a performance on Wednesday,
December 28th, after Ross was already paid in full for the performance. The
rapper was scheduled to headline the Calabar carnival celebration, but for
unknown reasons pulled out of the event at the last minute. The announcement of
the cancellation came via a Blackberry message and now the government is seeking
legal action against the “Husltin” rapper. A rep for Rick Ross issued the
following statement:
“Rick was very excited to attend this event as it is the biggest festival in
Nigeria and he is quite disappointed that he will not be
performing.”
