Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner Celebrating Haiti

According to the Huffington Post, Kim and her mother/manager, Kris Jenner (far left), traveled with their friends, including Maria Bello, (2nd from right) and actress Patricia Arquette (far right), “to experience the Haiti that Maria has come to know and love through her organization, We Advance.”

In a letter published on weadvance.org, Kim writes:

We came to celebrate the thousands of Haitian women who are working tirelessly every day to bring economic and social justice to all people in Haiti. So to them we say: we are humbled and moved to have been with you and to tell the world about your grace. We are proud to tell the world your stories.

The mission statement of We Advance is, “We are stronger together than we are alone.”

We are grateful to partner with such amazing women and to have been on this journey together.

Meanwhile, Kim’s younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, is settling in after traveling to Dallas, Texas with her hubby, Lamar Odom.

Kim Kardashian Takes A Trip To Haiti

Kim Kardashian is in Haiti. Not Las Vegas or Miami, Haiti.

The divorcing reality star accompanied actress/activist Maria Bello, of the recently canceled TV series Prime Suspect, to Haiti earlier in the week. Mom Kris Jenner is along as well.

Bello co-founded a charity called We Advance that operates a women’s clinic servicing the poorest of the poor women in Haiti, a country that hasn’t begun to recover from its devastating earthquake almost two years ago.

Kim’s role in making the trip is to help bring more attention to the ongoing problems in Haiti.

Her next prominent appearance is a bit more Kim-worthy. She’s hosting a New Year’s Eve bash at Tao in Las Vegas.
