Proving to be a performed that can meld into more than one genre, Nicki Minaj graced the 2011 American Music Award stage as the opening performance. Both her and David Guetta started with their latest single Turn Me On, off of Guetta’s latest album Nothing But The Beat. She wrapped up her visually stunning stage set with her chart topping Super Bass. Along with this amazing opening, Nicki also scored two awards – Best Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album. Overall a great night for the First Lady of YMCMB.
