Arrested: Rick Ross Arrested for Possession in Louisiana

A strong smell of marijuana led police to Ross’ hotel room around 11 p.m. According to the police report, upon entering the room officers saw approximately one gram of the drug in plain view. Carol City-raised Ross — whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II — was charged with possession of marijuana first offense and released on a misdemeanor summons.
