Kartel Speaks out on "Cake Soap"

So everybody is posting and talking about how they are confused with dancehall artist Vybz Kartel's use of the "cake soap", which as we see is changing his complexion. Now I have heard many stories on why he has used this product, such as; "he is changing his image", "he doesnt like his complexion". I havent beleived any of these stories because i dont know if its true, cant believe the hype just like that you know. But hey, thats a damn clever way of doing so I commend you if thats what you were trying to do (the image statement), but I always wondered how come there has not been a statement from the person everyone is accusing of "bleaching" himself. Well Kartel has finally made a statement to Vibe.com in regards to everyones concern with his "cake soap" use:

“I’m my own man, and as such I do my own thing. When black women stop straightening their hair and wearing wigs and weaves, when white women stop getting lip and butt injections and implants, when bald men stop getting hair transplants, and when people stop getting nose jobs and cosmetic surgery then I’ll stop using the ‘cakesoap’ and we’ll all live naturally ever after. Until then F**k you all.”

Now im sure NO ONE was expecting that response lol... go Kartel OH!
