 In 2011, he released his first single, "Tupac Back", along with Rick Ross, from his label's collaboration album Self Made Vol. 1. That same year he released another song from the album, "Ima Boss", also with Ross. Because of a remix to the song featuring T.I., Birdman, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, Ross, and Swizz Beatz, "Ima Boss" is so far Meek Mill's most successful song, peaking at #51 on the Billboard Hot 100, #20 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and at #1 on the Heatseekers Songs chart.

The April 28th event (“Event”) is a “special event” at one of Toronto’s most historical venue with the hottest Hip Hop artist currently #2 on the Billboard charts. The concept for the Event is to introduce the hottest Hip Hop artist in the world and present him to an audience which craves the energetic genre of music in Canada. Headlining the event will be Meek Mill a multi-talented song writer, producer, and artist. This event will also feature the best in R&B, and Hip Hop acts throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
