Contemporary R&B/Soul artist, Tamara Madison, is already establishing herself in the Toronto community as a single stage name in the likes of her most-famed R&B predecessors. Born in Toronto, her Jamaican parents moved on out to Brampton, Ontario where her talents budded at an early age. After singing in elementary school and in church solos, her gospel-flared vocals won her numerous talent show competitions and entry into a school of the arts for vocal. Her four-year experience not only nabbed her two more titles, songwriter and dancer, but she was convinced to emulate her own musical influences such as Lauryn Hill, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, and Bob Marley (to name a few). Soon, the aspiring artist caught the ear of JDiggz and Ray Robinson and started working with various local artists, including a feature on Toronto's DJ Charlie Brown Stylus Award nominated mixtape of Brown Billz. Her winning tone got her another feature on JDiggz Album “The Xperiment.” Tamara Madison released a remix and music video for her version to Frank Ocean's "Novacane", which had her name buzzing around Toronto. Her growing audience now awaits anxiously to hear this songbird take her own individual flight.
