The collection will be a mix of suedes and patent leathers in shades of white, black, purple, and beige. Prices will his roughly $465 for the lows and $600 for the highs. Out in May.
While high end designer sneakers have seen some great success in the mens market (Lanvin, Rick Owens, Kris Van Assche), it is a much different case for the ladies. Interning for Lanvin I've seen some of the nicest sneakers made from some of the best materials not sell at all because there just isn't a huge market for them. I feel like the high end customer is much more apt to spend $350 on a pair of flats for casual use rather than $700 on a pair of sneakers.
